Kochi: Actor Dileep’s anticipatory bail application in the case of conspiracy to endanger the police officers investigating the attack on the actress has been postponed to Saturday. The court will hold a special sitting tomorrow. Earlier, the prosecution had opposed granting bail to Dileep.
Meanwhile, in the case against Dileep, the crime branch also charged him with conspiracy to commit murder. The investigating officer reported to the court, amending the previously imposed provisions.
The report was filed in the Aluva Magistrate’s Court. The Crime Branch asked the court to question him in custody and not to grant him bail. In addition to the earlier 120 (b), there is also a provision for conspiracy to commit murder.
Dileep, his brother P Sivakumar alias Anoop, Dileep’s sister’s husband TN Sooraj, cousin Appu, friend Baiju Chengamanadu and another friend of Dileep’s and hotel owner Sarath from Aluva are accused in the case.
