Kochi: Crime weekly editor Nandakumar was arrested by the police. He was arrested for making and circulating a video insulting the Chief Minister. Arrested by Ernakulam North Police. News against the Silver Line project, Crime Nandakumar made a video insulting Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and circulated it through his YouTube channel.
The resident of Elamakkara, who noticed the video, approached the police demanding action. After the complaint was raised, Nandakumar removed the video, but the source was found through scientific examination and a case was registered and arrested. The case is under Section 153,505 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 124 of the IT Act.
