Thiruvananthapuram: The schedule of ration shops in the state has been changed from tomorrow, said the Minister for Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs, GR. Anil. According to this, ration shops will be open from 8 am to 12 noon and from 4 pm to 7 pm. Earlier, the working hours were from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. The schedule has been changed to take into account the rising summer heat. He said consumers should be careful to buy items from ration shops as per the new schedule.
