CCTV will be installed in the compartments soon; Railway IG

Thiruvananthapuram: Railway IG reacting to the fire incident in Alappuzha -Kannur Express. He said the violence was unfortunate and would ensure all assistance to the investigation team. He stated that the security of the railway stations will be increased and the installation of CCTV in the compartments will be implemented soon. Along with this, he added that scanners will be installed at the railway station and shortage of staff is the main challenge facing the railways.
