Thiruvananthapuram: The CBI will probe the case of violinist Balabhaskar and his daughter who died in a road accident. Last year, the Kerala government had recommended that the case be handed over to the CBI. Balabhaskar’s father Unni had come to the scene alleging that there was a mystery in his death. He demanded that the involvement of the gold smuggling gang be investigated. The state government had in December recommended a CBI probe based on his petition to the chief minister.
