Thiruvananthapuram: The CBI has found that there is nothing unusual behind the car accident in which musician Balabhaskar was killed. The CBI has filed a charge sheet against Arjun, who was driving the car. The case is for involuntary manslaughter. The CBI team found that Arjun was driving recklessly at excessive speeds and caused the accident.
A case has also been registered against Sobi who came on the scene as a witness. The case is for giving false information and producing false evidence. The relatives of Balabhaskar suspected suspicion in his death after his friends were accused in a gold smuggling case through the airport.
The confusion over the wording of the driver also contributed to the mystery of the death. According to Balabhaskar’s wife Lakshmi and eyewitness Nandu, the vehicle was driven by Arjun. KSRTC driver Aji, who reached the spot, said that he saw Balabhaskar in the driving seat. With the results of the forensic examination, this confusion was removed.
