KASARAGOD: Days after the death of social media influencer Chinnu Pappu, her boyfriend was found dead on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Santhosh (29), a native of Mannippadi.
According to reports, Santhosh had been under severe mental stress following the death of Chinnu Pappu (Reshma). The influencer was found hanging last Monday at the rented quarters in Ulliyathadukka where the couple had been living together for the past year.
Following Chinnu’s death, the police had questioned Santhosh for several hours before releasing him. Primary investigations into her death had suggested suicide, and friends and family had testified that there were no unnatural circumstances in their relationship.
Chinnu Pappu, a native of Adoor, Alanthadukka, had been separated from her husband for five years.
Police have initiated an investigation into Santhosh’s death.
