KOCHI: Chief Minister V. D. Satheesan performed the traditional Karkidaka Vavu Bali rituals today, joining thousands of devotees across the state in offering prayers to their ancestors. He performed the Pitru Tarpanam rituals at the Mahadeva Temple in Nettoor, Kochi.
Massive crowds have been gathering at major pilgrim centers across Kerala since early morning for the annual observance. The Chief Minister participated in the sacred rituals at the temple’s Balithara alongside other devotees.
