The blockbuster epic ‘Kantara Chapter 1’, starring and directed by Rishab Shetty, has announced its official OTT (Over-The-Top) release date. The film is set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, October 31, 2025.
After a sensational run in theatres worldwide, the prequel to the 2022 hit ‘Kantara’ will be available to stream for audiences in multiple South Indian languages. The film will be available in its original Kannada version, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam languages.
‘Kantara Chapter 1’, which has already crossed over ₹800 crore in global box office collections, is one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year. The film delves into the origins of the Panjurli Daiva legend, a story rooted in the culture and folklore of coastal Karnataka.
