Gaza: More than 100 people, including 35 children, were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza, violating the ceasefire agreement, according to Gaza Civil Defense officials.
Israel launched the attack on Tuesday night, accusing Hamas of breaching the ceasefire. The assault reportedly followed consultations with the United States. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Hamas had attacked Israeli forces and would face retaliation.
Following the strike, Hamas announced that it would withhold the handover of bodies scheduled for Wednesday. The group alleged that Israel targeted schools and residential buildings and denied violating the ceasefire.
