Interval between covid vaccines reduced

New Delhi: The interval between doses of the Covid vaccine has been reduced. In a statement released by the central government, the interval between the second dose and the booster dose has been reduced. Reduced from nine months to six months. The decision was announced by the Union Health Ministry. The decision has been taken in the context of increasing cases of covid in the country.

The decision of the health department is based on the recommendations of the National Immunization Advisory Committee. The Ministry of Health explained that the crucial decision was taken based on scientific evidence and following the example of other countries. In this regard, the Ministry of Health issued instructions to the states and Union Territories. Accordingly, the cowin website will also undergo a change.
