Imphal: The Manipur government has withdrawn an earlier order by local authorities against providing food and setting up refugee camps for Myanmar nationals entering India. The order, dated March 26, called on border officials to repatriate asylum seekers in India.

Gyan Prakash, Special Home Secretary to the State Government, said that the government has decided to withdraw the letter dated 26.03.2021 mentioned above to avoid this misunderstanding as the contents of the letter have been misinterpreted and misinterpreted.
