Thiruvananthapuram: The Met Office has warned that heavy rains are likely in the next three days. Yellow Alert was announced today in nine districts following a warning.

The alerts are in Alappuzha, Kottayam, Ernakulam, Idukki, Thrissur, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur, and Kasaragod districts. Yellow Alert has been issued in 12 districts tomorrow. Orange Alert has been announced in Idukki.
The State Disaster Management Authority has advised the public to be vigilant.
