New Delhi: The Union Ministry of Health today issued special guidelines on measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 during the festive season. October to December is the month when many people gather for cultural events for Religious worship, fairs.
The ministry said it was important to take necessary preventive measures to prevent the spread of infection. People over the age of 65, pregnant women, and children under the age of 10 should stay at home. The ministry also asked governments to prepare detailed plans for thermal
screening, physical distance and hygiene, and social distance keeping. Of people at rallies and immersion events care should be taken not to exceed the number limit. Events lasting days or weeks require strict control.
