New Delhi: Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has also infected with COVID. Earlier, AAP’s three legislators infected with COVID. He was tested last day but the results were negative. But he was tested again and found to be positive.
He was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital in New Delhi on Monday. It was followed by severe fever and shortness of breath.
Meanwhile, Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has temporarily taken charge of the health ministry and other departments which were under Delhi health minister Satyendar Jain as the latter tested positive for Covid-19 on Wednesday.
Satyendar Jain had recently met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He tweeted last night that he had been hospitalized due to severe respiratory problems and low oxygen levels.
Earlier, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had a COVID test on cough and sore throat but the results were negative.
