New Delhi: Government employees have been advised not to use apps like WhatsApp and Telegram to exchange job-related and government-related information. The new guidelines state that these apps are controlled by private companies from abroad. The Central government’s revised guideline is based on various security concerns raised by various intelligence agencies. It is suggested that employees engaged in work-from-home work should communicate exclusively through the e-Office application.
