Four UKNA Members Killed in Encounter in Manipur

Imphal: Four members of the insurgent group UKNA (United Kuki National Army) were killed in an encounter with security forces in Manipur. The clash occurred early Tuesday morning at Khanpi village under the Henglep division, about 80 km west of Churachandpur. According to reports, militants opened fire on the army patrol team without provocation, leading to a gunfight in which four insurgents were shot dead.
