CHENNAI: Acclaimed filmmaker Atlee and his wife, Priya, have officially revealed the name of their newborn baby girl. The couple took to social media to share the unique and beautiful name they have chosen for their second child—Miyou.
Sharing an adorable family photograph featuring themselves, their elder son Meer, and the new addition to their family, the couple expressed their immense joy. “Our art of love now has a name—Miyou. Our precious daughter. Meer’s little sister,” Atlee captioned the heartwarming post.
The name ‘Miyou’ has Japanese origins and carries the beautiful meaning of “Beautiful Gentleness” or “Beautiful Truth.” Atlee and Priya, who tied the knot in 2014, welcomed their first child, a son named Meer, in January 2023. They were blessed with their baby girl in early 2026.
Atlee, known for delivering massive Tamil blockbusters like Raja Rani, Theri, Mersal, and Bigil, made a historic Hindi debut with the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan. He is currently busy with the pre-production work of his next highly anticipated mega-project, tentatively titled Raaka, which is expected to feature superstars Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan.
