Mumbai: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has seized properties worth ₹3,000 crore belonging to Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani in connection with a money laundering case. The attached assets include the family residence at Pali Hill in Bandra and the Reliance Centre in Delhi, among others. The order was issued on October 31.
The seized assets are spread across Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Thane, and Andhra Pradesh, including both residential and office properties.
The ED has also intensified its probe into loan frauds linked to Reliance Communications, where around ₹13,600 crore worth of loans were allegedly diverted to other companies through irregular means. Anil Ambani had previously been questioned by the agency in this regard, and a senior official of Reliance Power had already been arrested earlier.
