Mumbai: BCCI has decided to close its headquarters in Mumbai following the Covid-19 panic. All cricket activities have been suspended until further notice and staff have been asked to ‘work from home’. The BCCI has also discontinued other domestic tournaments, including the Irani Cup and the Women’s Challenger Trophy. Also, the IPL-13 has been extended till April 15.

India also canceled the South Africa ODI series. India has so far reported 114 positive cases. The global death toll exceeds 6,000, and the number of infected people is more than 160,000. It is in this context that the BCCI decided to discontinue its office operations.
