
Raipur: In Chhattisgarh, 21 Maoists, including 13 women, have surrendered with weapons to police authorities.
The surrender took place under the state’s ‘Poona Margem: Rehabilitation through Reintegration’ initiative launched in the Bastar Range.
The rebels handed over 18 weapons, including AK-47s, INSAS rifles, SLRs, and grenade launchers.
Earlier, on October 17, 210 Naxalites, including a central committee member, had surrendered in Jagdalpur, turning in 153 weapons.
