Bank employees begin 48-hour strike

Kochi: Bank employees have gone on a 48-hour general strike against the bank’s privatization bill. Reconciliation talks at the additional CLC level yesterday to avoid a strike also failed. UFBU State Convener CD Josan said the public-private sector and the Grameen Bank sector would come to a complete standstill.
