Covid confirmed 5,784 more people in the last 24 hours in India

New Delhi: Covid confirmed 5,784 more people in the last 24 hours in the country.  Another 252 people have died in the last 24 hours. There are currently 88,993 active cases in the country.  7,995 were cured. This brings the total number of covid recover date in the country to 3,41,38,763.  The death toll rose to 4,75,888.  But the number of cases of omicron, a new variant of covid, has risen to 41 in the country.
