Washington: The United States has blacklisted 27 foreign companies, including 12 from China. The decision is based on the country’s national security and foreign policy interests. In addition to China, companies in Japan, Pakistan, Singapore, and Russia have been blacklisted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Bureau of Industrial Safety Amendments. The U.S. Secretary of Commerce has made it clear that global industry and trade must support peace, progress, and high-paying employment, not those that challenge national security.
