Karipur: Big gold hunt at the airport. Mujeeb, a native of Malappuram, was arrested by customs with 1990 grams of gold. According to customs, gold worth Rs 98 lakh was seized in the market.
During the search, the accused were caught with gold. In addition, customs seized foreign currency worth Rs 36 lakh from four passengers. Gold was also seized from the Karipur airport the previous day. Gold worth Rs 1.5 crore was seized by customs.
