A new cabinet takes office in Rajasthan

Jaipur: A new cabinet has taken office in Rajasthan. The issues between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot have been resolved. Thirty ministers, including 15 newcomers, were sworn in.  Five people from the Pilot faction have been sworn as ministers. Governor Kalraj Mishra administered the oath of office at the Raj Bhavan from 4 p.m.

The cabinet reshuffle was facilitated by resolving disputes between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot, including leaders from the Pilot’s side. Sachin Pilot’s supporters Hemaram Chaudhary, Vishwendra Singh, and Ramesh Meena were sworn in as ministers while Brijendra Singh Ola and Murari Lal Meena were sworn in as ministers. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who arrived in Delhi during the dispute, had held talks with central leaders.
