Vaccination Certificate of India

New Delhi: India’s corona vaccination certificate has been approved by five more countries, the External Affairs Ministry has said.
Recognized by Kyrgyzstan, Mauritius, Mongolia, Palestine, and Estonia.

Last month, Hungary and Serbia announced similar approvals.  Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla said the corona vaccination certificate was based on a mutual recognition policy.

He said India had raised the issue of adopting a mutual recognition policy for the Corona certificate at the G-20 summit.  He added that issues related to vaccination certification were considered to have been discussed specifically with the European Union.

Earlier, covaxin, India’s indigenous vaccine, was approved by the Australian Government.  Quarantine is no longer required in Australia for covaxine recipients. Covaxin has been approved by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration as a passenger vaccine.
