Palakkad: The main accused in the parallel telephone exchange case has been arrested. Moideen Koya from Kozhikode was arrested. It was found that there was a parallel telephone exchange in Palakkad under the cover of an Ayurvedic pharmacy.
The exchange was operating under the guise of Keerthi, an ayurvedic pharmacy owned by Hussain, a native of Kuzhalmandam.
Meanwhile, the investigation team had found that the SIM card was brought from Bangalore. This was found in a telecom inspection. Eight SIMs were recovered from Palakkad. Phone calls from foreign countries were also found.
