Kozhikode: The Elathur police has registered a case against actor Mammootty and actor and director Ramesh Pisharody for not meeting the covid norms. The case alleges that the two men, who arrived at the inauguration ceremony of the robotic surgery unit, formed a crowd.

There are also cases against filmmaker Anto Joseph and hospital management. Elathur SI KR Rajesh Kumar, who took up the case, said there were about 300 people present.
