Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has forecast strong winds and heavy rains in the state. Following this, a yellow alert was declared in various districts today. In the next three hours, isolated places in Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, and Thrissur districts in Kerala will reach 40 km per hour. The Met Office said there was a possibility of strong winds and thundershowers.
