Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department today issued yellow alerts in three districts due to the possibility of isolated heavy rains. The alert is in Alappuzha, Ernakulam, and Idukki districts. Rain warning has been issued for Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Thrissur, Malappuram, and Kozhikode districts tomorrow.
The monsoon is expected to continue in various districts till Saturday. The State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) has warned fishermen not to go fishing off the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka, and Lakshadweep from tomorrow till 10 am due to strong winds.
