Thiruvananthapuram: A vigilance probe has been ordered against KPCC president K Sudhakaran. The investigation was ordered by the director of vigilance. The probe was ordered on a complaint filed by former driver Prashant Babu alleging corruption against Sudhakaran. Prashant Babu complains that K Karunakaran misappropriated money in connection with the trust.
Crores of rupees were collected from abroad in connection with the construction of the Kannur DCC office. According to the complaint, Sudhakaran used the money to build a luxury house at a cost of Rs 60 crore. Senior leaders had earlier leveled large-scale allegations against Sudhakaran.
