Ahmedabad: After the outbreak of black, yellow, and white fungus, the concern has doubled with another fungal outbreak. Nose-related aspergillosis has been reported in Gujarat. It is found in Covid patients and those who have recovered from Covid disease.
Aspergillosis was reported in Vadodara. Eight people are being treated at SSG Hospital. Doctors say the infection was found in people who have recovered from Covid and are being treated for Covid infection.
According to Dr. Sheetal Mistry, fungal infections have been found in patients with steroid use.
