Chennai: Another death in the country due to lack of oxygen. In Tamil Nadu, 11 people died due to a lack of oxygen. The deceased was being treated at a government hospital. According to relatives, the government hospital in Chengalpet was short of oxygen for two hours in the morning. The dead included those being treated for Covid infection. Oxygen shortage is severe in Karnataka too. Yesterday alone, six patients who were being treated at hospitals in Bengaluru and Kalaburagi died of asphyxiation.
