Vaccination in private centers only for people between 18 and 45 years of age

New Delhi: The Center has announced measures to vaccinate people between the ages of 18 and 45 in the country. Vaccination for those above 18 years of age can be done only through private centers. People can register to receive the vaccine through the Cowin (https:// www.cowin.gov.in) app or website.

You can register for the vaccine from April 28th. The vaccine will be available through private hospitals or clinics across the country from Saturday, May 1.

Since the vaccine has to be obtained through private hospitals, people may have to pay for it themselves. In the private sector, the companies said they would pay Rs 600 for the serum institute’s covishiled vaccine and Rs 1,200 for Bharat Biotech’s covaxin. There continues to be confusion over whether to vaccinate state governments and the private sector. Vaccination of young people over the age of 45 is likely to remain in hospitals while vaccination of young people takes place in the private sector.
