Thiruvananthapuram: The date for giving pulse polio vaccine to children below the age of 5 in the state has been postponed, said the Health Minister KK. Shailaja informed.
The Union Ministry of Health had earlier announced that the supply of polio vaccine would be postponed due to the ongoing distribution of the Covid vaccine. The revised date will be announced later, he said
The Pulse Polio Immunization Program was decided on January 17 in the state as part of the National Polio Eradication Program.
