New Delhi: The CBI has taken up the TRP scam case on the recommendation of the Uttar Pradesh government. The case has been registered against Golden Rabbit Communication. A preliminary report on the CBI case has also been submitted.
Earlier, Mumbai police had said that an investigation into the source of the rumors circulating about the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput finally reached Republic TV. Mumbai police have found that three media outlets, including Republic TV, have manipulated Barc rating to get number one in the ratings.Earlier, Maharashtra Police had also registered a case against the TRP. The lawsuit alleges that three channels, including Republic TV, committed fraud.
