Actress Miya George and Ashwin Philip get marries at St. Mary’s Basilica, Ernakulam on 12 September. The wedding ceremony was made simple in the context of COVID. Only close relatives and family friends are invited.
High-neck sequined gown in the off-white shade was Miya’s costume in the wedding ceremony. Her beau Ashwin Philip wore a classy suit. On the wedding even, a ‘madhuramveppu’ ceremony was also held, for which Miya wore a traditional Kerala saree and a palakka mala motif inspired blouse.Miya’s groom is Ashwin Philip, a businessman from Ernakulam. The couple got engaged on May 30.
Only close relatives and friends were invited to attend the ceremony. Miya’s mother, Minnie, discovered Ashwin through a matrimonial site. Miya, the daughter of George and Minnie in Pala Thuruthippallil, came to the cinema through television serials. Miya started her career with small roles in films and later starred in Sachi’s Chettayis directed by Shajun Karyal. She has already acted in over 40 films in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu.
