Thiruvananthapuram: The Enforcement Directorate team investigating the gold smuggling case questioned Minority Affairs Minister KT Jaleel. KT Jaleel’s statement was confirmed by the head of the Enforcement Directorate. This morning, some officials from the Enforcement Directorate met the Minister in person.
Minister KT Jaleel had said that the Enforcement Directorate had not yet questioned him. However, the head of the Delhi Enforcement Department confirmed that Jaleel had been interrogated. It is learned that the enforcement officials met the minister in Aluva without informing the media before returning to Aroor. There are reports that the NIA will also take a statement from Jaleel after the ED.
