New Delhi: Cultural tourism minister Prahlad Patel said all monuments in the country, including the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort would be opened from July 6. The monuments were closed due to lockdown imposed in the country in the wake of the coronavirus.
At the same time, the center said that the states can take their own decision on this.
3400 monuments of the nation are stopped functioning before March 17. Now about 820 monuments have been opened. The remaining will be open soon following the order.
