Kozhikode: Private buses operated from Lockdown will be suspended from Sunday. Owners say the bus service will be closed on Sunday from the state’s full lockdown.
Private bus services have been restarted in the district from January 21. Following the lockdown concessions, only a few buses were served.
Initially, the increased fares were charged from passengers. But later the passengers were allowed to sit in all seats and the old rates were increased. The owners said the bus owners had incurred a huge loss by operating the daily service.
