Kochi: The official launch of superstar Mohanlal’s 368th feature film, tentatively titled L368, took place in Kochi with a traditional puja ceremony. Directed by Anoop Sathyan and produced by Binu George Alexander under the banners of Binu George Alexander Productions and Aashirvad Cinemas, the project marks the first-ever collaboration between Mohanlal and director Anoop Sathyan.
Along with the film’s official announcement, the makers unveiled a captivating first-look poster that offers a fresh visual perspective.
First Look Poster Sparks Curiosity
Unlike traditional star-centric first-look posters, the artwork highlights a scenic coastal backdrop featuring the sea, backwaters, and a long coastal road. Mohanlal is pictured alongside two young girls, sharing a lighthearted moment with colorful paper toys.
While the imagery evokes warmth, innocence, and family bonds, the director has previously hinted that the film will be a comedy action thriller embedded with a strong emotional core. The contrast between the peaceful coastal scenery and the promised thrill factor has generated significant interest among fans.
Anoop Sathyan Returns After a 6-Year Hiatus
This project marks Anoop Sathyan’s second directorial venture following his acclaimed 2020 debut, Varane Avashyamund, which starred Dulquer Salmaan, Shobana, Suresh Gopi, and Kalyani Priyadarshan.
Returning to directing after six years, Anoop revealed that he had been holding onto this script specifically for Mohanlal. The actor reportedly came on board immediately after hearing the unique narrative elements of the story.
