Thrissur: Union Minister Suresh Gopi organized and participated in the ‘Aasheervada Deepam’ (lamp lighting) event in Thrissur to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sharing pictures of the gathering on social media, the minister stated that the event was held along with local residents to pray for the Prime Minister’s good health and long life, as well as the nation’s continued progress.
The event held in Kerala’s cultural capital saw participation from key dignitaries, including BJP State General Secretary Sobha Surendran, Padmashri Peruvanam Kuttan Marar, and former BJP state leaders.
“A prayer lamp lit from the heart of Thrissur for the leader of the nation,” Suresh Gopi wrote in his Facebook post, thanking the people of Thrissur for joining the celebration.
