Megastar Mammootty has officially joined the set of director Nithish Sahadev’s upcoming film. The actor arrived at the shooting location in Karaikudi immediately after wrapping up his portions for the Tamil film Om alongside Dhanush. Photos of Mammootty arriving at the location clad in a simple shirt and mundu have already taken social media by storm.
Produced under the banner of Mammootty Kampany, this marks the production house’s 9th feature film project. Following the success of Kalankaval, this upcoming action-comedy entertainer is touted to be the most expensive venture ever mounted by Mammootty Kampany.
The ongoing first schedule in Karaikudi is set to span 50 days, after which the team will move to Ernakulam for the next schedule. The movie features a prominent ensemble cast including Jean Paul Lal, Siddharth Bharathan, and Vaazha 2 fame Hashir, along with several new faces.
Co-written by Nithish Sahadev and Anuraj O.B., the film has cinematography by Jimshi Khalid and music composed by Vishnu Vijay. Aroma Mohan serves as the production controller.
