THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Compounding the financial woes of the common man, fuel prices in the country have witnessed another sharp hike today. The price of petrol has been increased by ₹2.61 per litre, while diesel saw a jump of ₹2.71 per litre. With the latest revision coming into effect, petrol is retailing at ₹115.32 per litre and diesel at ₹104.41 per litre in the state capital.
This marks the fourth fuel price hike in the last two weeks alone, cumulatively burdening consumers with an overall increase of ₹8 per litre.
