No ban on media; K.A. Paul’s plea in Nimishapriya case dismissed

New Delhi: The Supreme Court has dismissed the plea filed by Global Peace Initiative founder and evangelist K.A. Paul, seeking a ban on media from reporting on the Nimishapriya case.

A bench headed by Justice Vikram Nath dismissed the plea. K.A. Paul had sought a ban on public discussions in the Nimishapriya case, saying that Nimishapriya’s death sentence was likely to be carried out soon and that the matter should not be affected by the discussions.
