Thiruvananthapuram: The Southern Railway has introduced real-time reservation facilities on select Vande Bharat trains in Kerala. Passengers can now book tickets up to 15 minutes before departure at the station if seats are available.
This applies to the Vande Bharat trains running between Thiruvananthapuram and Mangaluru via Alappuzha. The new system is available both online and at station counters. It is being implemented on eight trains under the Southern Railway zone.
