Party meeting in the middle of the road; High Court asks MV Govindan to appear on 12th

Kochi: The High Court has asked MV Govindan to appear on 12th of this month in contempt of court for holding a party meeting by blocking the road. The court also directed the other leaders in the case to appear on the 10th.

Although he approached the court, the court had directed him to appear on February 10th. However, he requested the court to give him another date as a party meeting was being held in Thrissur on that day. Following this, the court considered the application and changed the date.
