Thiruvananthapuram: The government has declared a dies non, stating that the salaries of those participating in the strike announced for January 22 will be reduced. The CPI service organization, Joint Council, and the Congress service organizations have announced the strike on January 22 citing various reasons.
The employees are preparing for the strike with demands such as withdrawing the participatory pension scheme and reinstating the old pension scheme, initiating the twelfth salary revision process, and taking over the Medisep health insurance scheme by the government.
