Beef banned in hotels in Assam

Gohati: Ban on beef in hotels, restaurants and public places in Assam. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma announced that the Cabinet has decided to include more provisions in the existing Beef Prohibition Act.

At present, beef is banned within a 5 km radius of temples. Cow slaughter was banned in the state 3 years ago. He said that this is the continuation of this decision taken by the people.
